About David Macaulay:
David Macaulay is American illustrator and writer who graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a degree in architecture. His most famous books are nonfiction illustrated children's books about engineering and architecture. Macaulay's books have sold millions of copies and have been translated into multiple languages. He is the winner of multiple awards including the Caldecott Medal. His books include The Way Things Work, Pyramid, Castle, Underground, Building Big, and The Way We Work.
